Fractionated Laser Skin Resurfacing

Both Drs. Coleman use Fractionated Laser Skin Resurfacing to treat areas of skin that are wrinkled or have suffered sun damage. This procedure is most often used to reduce, or eliminate, the fine lines that can appear around the eyes or the mouth. Fractionated Laser Skin Resurfacing can be performed on specific regions of the face, or across the entire face  to effectively treat uneven pigmentation and scarring. Sometimes it is combined with Chemical Peeling or Surgical Dermabrasion. The high energy amplified light waves from carbon dioxide lasers removes the top layer of damaged skin instantly with no bleeding. Healing normally takes several days, depending on the condition treated.
